Writing a College Admissions Essay About YourselfWriting a college admission essay is difficult work. College applications for all major is rife with work, and if you are unsure what to write, you might think that writing your own admissions essay will be easy. Here are some sample college essay examples about yourself, and the things that you should include in the essay.First, ask the school or university to send you all of their high school transcripts and SAT or ACT scores. You will need these in order to write an admission essay about yourself. Your admission essay should not be composed solely of information about yourself, and you will need to add some personal information as well. You can do this by writing down all of your high school activities and the grades you received at all of them. Essay Topics - Some Tips
Essay Topics - Some TipsThose of you who have been reading this site for a while are probably aware that one of the best essay topics is President Kennedy. If you're looking for information about his life, from his childhood to his assassination and even the investigations that followed, then you will definitely be interested in this topic. The biggest problem, however, is finding interesting essays on this topic.Well, I have found one big problem. They are all written by men. How do you solve that problem? There are two things that I did, which turned out to be very useful.First, I had to identify the most useful pieces. Second, I had to cross out the non-useful ones. Without knowing which topics I should cross out first, I ended up giving the most important topics much more time than they deserved. That didn't make sense to me, so I had to look up some examples. For example, I noticed that most of the history books are written by men. Not only did they say they were historians, but they also wrote a very interesting historical profile. If you were really looking for interesting and relevant information, there are only three topics that seem to appeal to your interests.Another big problem I ran into was trying to find interesting topics. It's true that there are plenty of places online where you can search for articles on JFK. However, I found that most of these sites are written by women. This made me feel very uncomfortable because they didn't understand me and would use their gender as an excuse to avoid researching the subject. By the way, I don't mean to be offensive or anything, just trying to explain myself. To make sure I didn't miss any valuable information on JFK, I decided to make a list of essays that I would need to read. I ran across a few essays that I thought were interesting, but I couldn't find enough information on them to complete my research. I had to drop them off. The other essay topics that I ran across were written by men, so I picked so me of those up as well. So, if you run across a list of essays that you like, try to find the men's version of it.When you do your research on John F Kennedy, you will find he had a unique personality and will certainly be an influence on many generations of children and adults. My advice is to make sure you pick topics that you like and feel will interest you. And remember that you shouldn't sacrifice quality for quantity.
